Lighting with a storage/rest for the triangle.

On the tournament side of Hard Times in Bellflower, CA, they have (or at least used to have) hanging oak lights with a triangle rest to store the triangle between games. I have done some Googling, but the closest I found was an oak light with dogs playing poker *without* any dedicated triangle rest. I would prefer to do without the dogs playing poker, but like the idea of a wood light. Any recommendations for good hanging lighting with a triangle storage/rest would be greatly appreciated, and also whether the light should be fluorescent or just regular bulbs?

I think most people are leaning toward LED lighting now, rather than bulbs. Depending on how you hang the light, you could store the triangle above the light or build a quick frame out of wood with a slot for it.

Yes LED lighting is the future of pool table lighting in my opinion. As for the triangle holder, just a thought here, but why not just put a hook under the table. It would be less likely that the triangle will be dropped on to the table.

Why not just put it in the holder in the table?? Am i missing something here?

I stopped by a store over this past weekend and saw a display model for the Gold Crown 6, with gully return, but did not see a dedicated storage slot for the triangle. There is a place for balls to be stored, and a tray to receive the balls when returned.

This is what I did for my home table. Buy a nice hook and screw it into the underside of the table frame so that it hangs below the table at the foot side rail.
