Try buying tickets for Garth Brooks ,Elton John , The Eagles just to name a few nose bleed seats up high enough that while at my spot light I can stand up and look people in the eyes ha ha

I was surprised at the price of Ozzy's tickets for his final show. A grand got you the best seats in the house, in advance, of course.
I had already bought pretty good seats for Saturday's Rush concert when they announced they added 2 more dates to the event calendar.
Wtf??
Proximity to Canada??
Then again 'Rush in Rio' sold out hundred thousand seat soccer stadia. Rush could start their own religion south of the border.

Anyhoo, with presale, I couldn't figure out how to cancel the tics I'd already purchased in hopes of getting even better seats at the newly announced show dates. I decided it's worth 2

The resale guys are making a fortune off these events. Tics going for 3 and 4x what they did initially. I checked.
When I grow up, don't wanna be a rock star, I wannabe a ticket scalper.

One of the many things I like about Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood is they have camera's at the turn styles counting the number of people who have walked into the building . Big deal you may say ! Well it really is as neither of them are interested in leaving their dressing room until the majority of the people are in the building and have a chance to do whatever they need to then get to their seats to enjoy the concert !
Traffic was backed up for over 3 miles with people trying to get into the building ! To me that's pure class shown to their fans !

Lol. I watched some of the posted concert(s) and not enough bass content. Fender bass sounds like a Rick but more critical, kick drum is near zero. I know it's a big arena but a drummer without kick(s) is like a legless acrobat.
Oh, there was plenty of that!!!
A bit more than needed actually!! I was surprised and impressed by how well Rush sounded!!! Geddy's voice was of old!! Hitting the high registers with power. Whew!!!

Geddy's Voice was in great shape. Hitting those high register notes we've all come to expect in a rush song.
The vocal coaching he took b4 this '50 something' tour really did the trick. Powerful and of old!!!
Wouldn't surprise me in the least to see Rush do this again!! Incredible.
For men their age to perform like this - consistently - is a statement to the bands integrity. They truly are "Working men" !!!
Btw ... We had awesome seats!! The United center is set up very well. The seats are smaller than many venues I've seen, but the angular set up is one of the best. I bought an extra ticket so as to have an empty seat next to me. I'm a big guy after all. Glad I did so, even tho I spent the entire concert on my feet!!!
I imagine live in person. Where there's reverb, there's boom. Looking for redeeming qualities, I only find youtube sound.
Glad you enjoyed it. I have 3 or 4 Rush albums I rescued out the 5 dollar bin at Walmart and comfortably entombed in the stacks of CDs I own. Gave 'em a couple minutes time years ago, no response. I'll try again in your honor - no doubt with the same results.
Please. No need. I've never been one to insist a person listen to any music other than what they enjoy. Music is and always will be a very personal matter to whomever the listener may be. I have seen a few cutouts, but Walmart buys these copies made in Mexico and the audio quality for want of a better word, Sucks. Gotta be careful with some of Wallyworld's goodies. Check the labels first.That's terrible!!! Got me all worked up thinking vinyl, the pulled the rug!!

So many choices in audio nowadays, it's often hard to choose. I have a ton of CDs and Vinyl. I'm not an aficionado of any of that nonsense. I know guys who swear vinyl sounds better. Idk. At the volumes I usually listen, trying to tell the difference would be impossible.

All of the diamond tables had great cloth and were very well maintained. The clerk asked me what color chalk I had!!
"Only blue is allowed" she stated. "Players come in here with red and green and others that are too hard to get out of the cloth!!"
Pricey, for what I'm used to, but that's Chicago for ya.
