Lindsey Graham Calls Pool Players Liars

I'm no big fan of Guber Graham, but the real scum here is Jon Stewart. What does racism have to do with anything? Stewart introduces the Graham clip by mentioning racism coming out of nowhere. Graham says: 1) I worked in a pool hall 2) By working there I learned to smell a BSer. 3) the Iranian Government smells like BS.

Where is the racism? Stewart is planting the idea in the viewer's mind that Graham knew Iranian pool players when he was a kid and they were all liers. Only after the clip does Stewart mention how stupid it is that since he spotted liers in a pool hall that he is an expert on Iranian policy (departing from the racism charge).

I think Graham was just trying to be folksy. Much ado about nothing, IMO.

Yes, everything he learned about the Iranian government he learned from liars in a pool room. Because even a 3rd grader would NOT assume he meant the entire Iranian population, but the Iranians he deals with, the jerks running Iran.

The one's lying they will NOT build nuclear weapons to destroy Israel, who they've said a million times must be eradicated from the face of the earth. And you can believe the Iranians cause when asked for unfettered and radom inspections to ensure that, the Iranian defense guy said in so many words, No way, No how.

So, yeah, sounds pretty trust worthy to me

So, too bad the comments won't fit into a def of racism... Only a complete moron would trust them NOT to build a nuclear weapon and NOT bomb Israel, nor sell a weapon to sneak into the US... which is beyond easy.

Well, when Obama recently said the "Russians" during the Russian/Ukraine incident, I never in a million years thought he was talking about all 145M Russians, but assumed he meant Putin and his inner circle of jackals. But hey, that's just me.

and

"What difference does it make"

Oh, and, "The Russians: is different than "Russians".
