Link on Efren's son Frennie

"It's OK," said Frennie. "I'm not famous yet. But given more time I can be as good, if not better, than my father."

I don't think so and if he's built like most Filipinos he'd better give up those basketball dreams too. :D
Staying in college I think is good advice from his father. That is good advice for anyone not just Frennie.

Thanks for the information. I was wondering whether you recall the exhibition in Manila that Efren did with Jeanette Lee, in 2001, sponsored by Flatron. I was told that the arena was packed. Are there any videos of the competition.

YEP! They have it on record/movie stores like in malls. It's on a VCD format kinda like DVD here.

The arena was packed with still more people outside the venue who couldn't get it. I think they installed some big screens outside the arena for the crowd who couldn't get in. I got the vcd. Its titled "Black Widow VS The Magician"

If I remembered correctly, I found the Jeannette vs Efren at the powerplant mall. I bought the color of money part 1 at the video city.

In California, we used to have the Filipino basketball leagues. I think they played all over the west coast. A Filipino friend of mine, Marvin Almazon, was 6'5" at least and he played in that league. I think he was Pangasinan (spelling?). :D
