hi folks, i started a thread about a table i was offered in the main forum. in hindsight, maybe i should have started it down here to begin with...

unfortunately, i dont have any pictures of the table (it is in a partially lit basement and the pics i took with my phone didnt come out worth a darn. but the thing looks just like a Brunswick Anniversary with a few differences (including it being a single piece of 8ft slate, 1 inch plus thick)...

here's the thread from the main forum, any input would be welcome:

I know that AE Schmidt produced a table very much like this.
Big oval bases and whatnot that made it look a lot like the Annie...
Ive never seen one in person, only in old photos, so I'm not sure if the Schmidt version had the adjustable feet...

Perhaps the folks at Schmidt (Kurt) can help you?

Table

Different... Looks like its not a Brunswick, I don't know if the cue storage is original but that idea was popular in the 50's-60's. I'm no billiards historian.. Tho I have seen a few tables from that era and all of them had cue storage in the table.
Extruded aluminum... K-steel tables used that type of aluminum...

The rails have a wood cushion block that attaches to the extrusion-which can be rebuilt.. It's looks like the extrusion rail bolts to the frame like a t-rail..so basically the holes in the slate are not used..
I may be wrong but that's what it looks like that's going in to me from the pic..that table is uncommon to my knowledge
-best of luck'

re: link

yes, the aluminum extrusion rails bolt to the frame and the slate screws to the frame as well, no fasteners connect the rails to the slate directly.

the endcaps (not shown yet) have a hole right on the outside corner at the top which give access to an allen screw (one on each side of the endcap) which connects the endcap to the the rails. the endcaps are cast aluminum with a bronze-like color.

oh, and i dont believe that is cue storage, i believe those cutouts are for a ball return kit if the table came with ball return. this one appears to have always had drop pockects, but there are cutous in the frame and base for a ball return setup... or at least that's what it looks like to me...

thanks,
