Testing a new sneaky? Man this guy hasn't looked any different since the first time I saw him in the 70s!
New Sneak? Not hardly… one that he made probably 40 years ago. He didn’t travel to Albuquerque with a cue but my father has quite a few cues made by Al.

Thats funny , I am 75 and never wore a hat in my life until the last month , I bought 2 of those floppy hats because I get cold and hot flashes. They really help keep you warm.
Yeah the hat's new. Newer than the 90s at HTB. Is it cold in NM?
Yeah my dad has at least 30 of his cues… conservatively. I know this is one of his older ones because of the joint pin. When Al first started making cues his joint pin was pointed.
Occurred to me you might be kidding too. I have <a> sneaky unsigned lol. I'd post pics but don't want to out myself. Bigger lol...
68 degrees today. Spring weather has just begun.
Al is back in LA today for a couple of weeks and then back up to Sacramento.
Just checked the pin on mine. Yup beveled. Mine's all aged and nicely browned. What room is that in the pic?

Nah just a visitor. I met Al in the 70s and got my first taste of real pool; just an observer. Got the cue when he had the shop at HTB. I'm just a fan as far as the player crowd is concerned.

Thanks for posting the thread on Al. I think the Dufferin ebony flames are very cool. Mine is just a couple of years old but made from Al's stock of 40-year-old+ Valley blanks.
My pleasure... Al sure means a lot to me. I’ve visit him as much as life has allowed over the years. He has taught me much. Way more than building cues but that too! I always enjoy my time with him.
Oh yes I have a few of those old stock uncut Valleys that he’s given me.
