I was cleaning my table last night and discovered a little hole/tear just a little snag in the 860, is there anything I should do to prevent it from getting any bigger, it probably won't effect play now, but I wouldn't want it to get any bigger.

The first thing you should check are your cues. Make sure there round and scuffed. Little half moon shaped cuts are from the cues. I don't know of any fix for your cloth. Keep in mind burns and little holes are going to happen if your shooting pool. How old is your cloth and how much play does it get?

Thanks, the cloth is 6 months old, I play about an hour or 2 per day, just had a new tiger tip put on my schon, maybe there is a rough spot, I will check. That never occured to me that it might be the tip, but I was drawing a lot of shots, that might me the reason. I will keep an eye on it to see if it gets any worse. Thanks again for the info.

Since you have Simonis cloth you are in luck, the weave used to make Simonis cloth will in most cases not allow the Frey / chip to get any larger. That is why it is better to buy the best, because this is what sets your cloth apart from the rest.;)

Thanks again, I have a feeling I did it when I was learning how to jump balls, that might have done it, I also was practicing my draw stroke, that might have done it to. Again, thanks for the info.
