Little John is Nice person

Don't be so melodramatic Steve. Did I say they were different? Just clearing the air. Many players have caught and yet have never dumped a stakehorse. They see it differently. I don't, having been dumped myself and the only way I knew for sure was the catcher, many years later, admitted it. I then had to make a choice. (1) Kill the Pitcher and the Catcher. (2) Kick their respective asses. Or (3), which I chose to do, find a better player that they didn't know and trap both of them. This choice got me all my money back plus a little even after cutting the cash with the player I trusted.

The smartest thing anyone can do is just mark it down in memory and go about your business until the time comes to get your money back. Then if you want to let the two offending parties know that you got your money back, well, that's up to you.

Hurt them where they feel it most, in the wallet, actually, left front pocket for most.

Sounds like you've dealt with Ronnie Wiseman before cause you used his line.

I heard the line first from Scott Smith as introduces Ronnie Wiseman to the audience at tournaments.

Speaking of Ronnie, he sure does seem to be hitting them pretty good. He's in the winner's bracket with Jose Parica, along with four other players in the loser's bracket including Johnny Archer.

Stevelomako, the catcher and the pitcher are both equally at fault (IMO), and Little John, letting months go by without making his bad check good to the gentleman in Tampa, is definitely in the wrong.

And without stakehorses, considering the volatile income and outcome of most action pool players, there wouldn't be very many battles for high stakes.
