Little John super pissed on poolactiontv

Claiming there's unwritten rules is dumb because not everyone may know them. Especially now that people are coming from all over the world for Derby etc. What's common one place may not be elsewhere. There was a thread some years back about Dennis playing a good shortstop 9 ball giving him the breaks and BIH after. So the guy was basically playing the ghost which he knew he was a huge fav against. The guy got ahead in the set early then had a couple of dry breaks and Dennis got even. Knowing he had the worst of it by this point Dennis claimed that he should be able to get out of the game cause they were even at that point.

You let out crucial fact: dennis and the other guy were in the middle of a set and the set had not concluded when Dennis quit.

As in it was a race to 9 and when the score tied before 9 was reached by either party, Dennis pulled up.

And as I recall, Dennis ended up buying out for a reduced amount.

Is that the one on video where he looks like a welcher?

Not to stir the pot, but I am curious on this....I don’t understand the whole “quit winner” dilemma. The goal is to win..... period. For what my opinion is worth....which is a minimal amount...🤪🤪....it’s gambling. Unless you have agreed in advance, either side should be allowed to walk away whenever they want. Why would a player get “upset”?

Each side had their opportunity to get ahead.... even if only one set was played. If you failed, you failed.

I know that there are gambling purists who will disagree....and that’s okay. I respect their opinions....I just respectfully disagree. Would they give me action....maybe not. But I can promise that if they beat me but I felt good about the matchup and wanted to continue to play and they walked away, I would have zero issue with that.

If two guys match up for $1 or $1,000,000....they started with an equal opportunity to be the winner. If the goal is to be the “winner”, why should one feel obligated to continue to play once they earn that title? If both want to continue, fine. If either wants to quit, fine too.

Some will say nit. But that’s not the case. I am willing and have lost.

So often, the best “action“ players are completely broke and have nothing. Why....because they won’t stop. They won’t book a win and call it a day. Reminds me of my mother in law and casino slots....she refuses to quit ahead. Then she complains because she “lost”.
Imagine going a casino, hitting on a machine for two grand, hitting the cash out button and having security come up and say you can’t quit yet because you didn’t give the machine a chance to win its money back.

It's the right thing to do😉

Had that happen to friends in another country playing Black Jack.
