Live Coverage of the Florida Pro Tour NOW

I'll be staying tuned for sure! :p

When possible, could you provide a little info for the inquring minds back home? The equipment, what kind of tables, format of the tournament, how many players showed up, and, when available, the money payouts.

You're the pioneer on real-time coverage, Shane, and NOBODY does it better, I say! Thanks in advance. :)

Very nice field. :)

They got 'em coming in from as far north as New York and as far west as California, and I dare say, it should be a bloody war all the way to the finish.:D

Tough field as always. Anyone who wins a Florida Tour event earned it. I couldn't figure out how Parica lost 7-0 to both Gary Flannery and Flowers, but apparently he didn't make it and forfeited. Couldn't make it today but, hopefully, I'll be there tomorrow. Thanks for the link, SS.

No problem, yeh Parica never showed...hence the 2 x 7-0 scorelines.

Pete,

No problem. We do plan on doing a video feed very soon...it will be one of the next 1 or 2 tournaments that we cover. I will post on AZ and on our site when I know which event it will be.

For now, you will have to make do with the news and bracket updates on our site :)

Thanks. This is definately one the the events that I would absolutely enjoy watching. Unfortunately as a single dad I can not get away, so I'm at home quite a bit.

I'll will watch for updates though.

Shane,
Thanks for the excellent coverage of the tournament. I'm surprised you could see over my big red head to post the scores...
I was really pulling for Hunter Lombardo against Richie Ricerson--Hunter is such a class act. I'll be pulling for Bill Ferguson tomorrow--he is the defending champion from last years tournament.
I had to go home and shower--the guys next to me were so filthy, every other word was the f word.
At least I was able to see the results on platinumbilliards.com.
Thanks again!

Last 8 on the winners side and last 8 on the one loss side are all getting ready to start right now. We will of course, like yesterday, update the brackets after every game and match and will have news updates of any excting happenings and ball by ball updates on any hill/hill matches.

The semi final and final will be done ball by ball.

Brackets and news are available now on www.platinumbilliards.com

Hope you enjoy.

Jam,

We have posted the payouts on our site (just for you :) )

1st-$3500, 2nd-$2000, 3rd-$1500, 4th-$1200, 5th-6th$900, 7th-8th$650, 9th-12th$450, 13th-16th$300, 17th-24th$200

I see you have Ussery and Owen in the finals.

No Buddy Hall or Ray Martin. They used to be pretty regular on the tour. But it might be too far to drive. Especially for Buddy now that he moved up north.

Nice website.

Jake

Got home from Tulsa in time to watch the finale match on your website........enjoyed the coverage!

Those are great payouts, and right about now, it's down to B.J. Ussery versus Gabe Owen. The tension is building. B.J. has a light lead, winning 6 games to Gabe's 4 at this juncture, but it's still early.

I'm staying tuned!:p
