Happy New Year!

Streaming video - bad quality, will buy dvd later on.

Well I've had the coverage every broadcast they have done and I have no complaints about quality, mind you I have a great computer and DSL.
Also think Allan Hopkins is doing a great job so maybe that just makes it all the better for me.

Last time I purchased your product, it was riddled with problems. Care to address how BCN has improved their service to convince me to give you another shot?

I have tried once to download their broadcast and I was dispointed. I have never looked back since than.
I am a computer technician and I also have a great machines with high speed cable internet.
I prefer to get a dvd for a simillar prize or even pay more and have extra good quality.

Even if the quality is a little iffy sometimes, the price is right. I wish they could get it better though myself, is it possible to really get it like real TV with streaming video? If that was the case and there was enough coverage, I would be willing to pay $99.00 to maybe as much as $199.00 For the nine days of coverage. Either way, go for the $29.00 and enjoy it as best you can, seriously though don't miss out.

BCN Feed

I have had no problems since the BCN's initial broadcast. I just have DSL and a relatively newer computer and all of the feeds since the first one have been fine. I will be at the DCC for the first few days but would still consider the $29 investment a bargain for all of that pool.
I feel that the BCN offers a pretty nice service at a reasonable pricetag.

I thought the U.S. Open broadcast was just fine. I don't think I had any problems that others weren't having, but all in all, it was cool. I was glued to my computer when the matches were live and I was replaying matches when they weren't. IMO, 9 days of matches for $29 is great. Peace, John.

Well, I'll be signing up as soon as I get home tonight and then doing the nightshifts over the weekend so I can watch some of the main matches live.

Thanks to Rob and all those connected with BCn for giving us more live coverage!

I went to the BCn site and just watched the Corey Deuel vs Efren Reyes Match from the 2004 US Open that is free. I am going to say it was of the most amazing 9-ball matches I've seen. I wish it was completely uncut. It was truly an exciting match with the defense and almost perfect shot making. If you have not seen this match, go check it out.

KIND OF A SPOILER HERE:
I really think that if Corey would have just not gotten such bad kicks or would have made more balls on the breaks the score would have been different.

I have purchased a couple of live events from BCn, and for the price, I think it is fantastic. The video quality is not bad at all if you have an adequate internet connection. I will definatly subscribe again, even though I will be at the DCC for the last half.

Question

I went to buy the package but nowhere can you do it. Do you have to log in as a member first? I probably had an e mail and password the last time I paid to watch but I cannot remember which ones I used and there is no (forgot password?) link. Do I have to re register before it allows me to buy? Stupid I know, I could just do it anyway and duplicate my membership.

I also want to know what has been done regarding quality of broadcast.

The first DCC I watched was fantastic smooth quality broadcast.
The US open was almost always jumpy, except that some of the recorded broadcasts worked ok for me.

Very very tempted to order again, but would like some assurance of quality. Nothing quite like watching live matches.

lol

I'm glad to see you back :D

One question for the gang at BCn. Will the matches be available to watch online at a later time? Both ring games start at 8pm Eastern, which is 1am here in the UK - kinda late, especially after being at work all day - and I would love to be able to watch them all.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I just sent him an email asking him if he could come answer these questions. :)

Problems, problems so many problems

Already the programming is screwed up but still worth it. Good picture coming in however:
No Tony Chohan and no Alex Pagaulyan as advertised as playing in ring game.
One main reason I paid for broadcast tonight. Tony and Alex two of the most colorful players to watch. What happened, I think they paid in advance at least that was Grady's rules
Also now they have changed broadcast to 6 p.m. instead of 5, they sure dont care about peoples schedule.
Last year they changed the 1p finals a whole day earlier.
They have got to stop pulling this stuff, I hope the IPT is a little better.

I hate complaining but when you dont get what you expect and looked forward to and at a later time it gets pretty frustrating.

Worst Connection...

very slow connection... for live onlive telecast...forget it.. it's not worth it.... i'm connected now... and i am very-very-very-very-very-very-very..............very-very....very dissapointed...
