Live Now - Watch Corteza v Liu Hui Chang

4 to 2 Corteza.

Corteza went up and down the table for shape on the 9 ball (18 feet) and ended up 'married' to the 9 ball. He played safe...9 ball and cue ball opposite ends of the Table. The guy measures up and banks 9 ball in.

Q. Do they use the plastic template for racks in Competitions in the USA, cos these old fashion racks take too much time and the balls break inconsistently.

They have them in Thailand and use them in small tourneys but the last 2 majors they have used the triangle ?

7 to 4 Corteza.

Corteza missed a kick on the one ball (two rails) and Nit runs out with ball in hand.

Nit is ranked the following:
AzB Player Rank: 1290

8 to 4 Corteza.

Nit misses another kick. Corteza runs out.

FYI: The crowd looks painfully bored.

9 to 4 in a race to 13

Corteza in the lead. He breaks and runs (nearly missing the nine--He hit it pocket speed ).

10 to 4 Corteza WINS!!!!!

I seen something on bottom of streaming screen that had '13' and couldn't read the scoreboard (getting older) which looked like 13 as well.

Corteza broke the 9 ball in and guess what...The crowd went nuts.

I think the trophy for winning was quite amazing. It was an elephant with a golden cloth decorating and a 9-ball in it's ivory tusks.

Thanks again Megabreak!

Did Corteza win the tournament?

How did the earlier Orcollo-Alcana match come out?
