Who might I ask is Jeremy's hapless opponent? Or is it Jeremy who is hapless?

Bump.
Looks like some of you will have to choose between watching a the semi final of the Welsh Open or the live game between me and Jeremy Jones.
Unless of course, you just open up two browsers.

Anyway, 1pm CST at http://www.justin.tv/forcefollow this Saturday....

Thanks Man. Got a bit twitchy when I was 3-1 up and couldn't make a ball anymore. Lessons learned. I think I'm ready for the US snooker championship.

Also want to send a quick shout out to Mike Moon for doing an excellent job ref-ing. Thanks all for watching and I think mnorwood is gonna get the whole thing on youtube. Although he might cut some of the ugly stuff out. Remember none of us are snooker pro's so we vary some pretty good safety and break building with missing some hangers. Highest breaks were in the 30's by both Jeremy and I.

Good luck homebrewer. All it takes is a little (or a lot) of table time.
Both Jeremy and I can play much better than that, when the pressure isn't on and we're not on national tv (via the internet)

I'm sure you can. I'm actually looking forward to seeing this on Youtube more than the current Welsh Open. Keep up the good work of bringing enlightenment to the heathen.

tried watching at the start... I don't play much snooker anymore, however, I would like my chances in that match. Good player should be hitting some good runs 50+ even with nerves.

Well Jason, we never said we were good players *laughs*
If you ever find yourself in the Houston area come on over and we'll splatter your face all over the internet too!

I am safe on saying sure, cause I don't think I will get there:D I do love playing snooker though. Much more fun than pool. I thought it was some top snooker guy looking to school JJ. You made some nice shots to keep runs going from what I watched... What is your high run. I had a 142 in practice few others in the 100's. Highest in a match is 94 and in a tournament is 74. I only played snooker for 1 1/2 years though. I wanted to run a century and practiced a while ago to get it. Just need someone to get it against now to make official.

Apparently there are numerous spectators that run hundreds. There were even some guys in the chat that said they would have to give Jeremy the 5 in 9 ball. :scratchhead: The problem is I can't get any of these people to agree to an "actual" match. That would involve having to make good on your words. Truth be told there are only a hand full of people in North America that can hang with drsnooker and jeremy in snooker or pool for that matter. If anyone says otherwise you can pm me. We can set up a match, doesn't have to be at drsnooker's house, Casper's has snooker and pool. We don't gamble. Gentleman's game only.

Regards,
Marcus

I'm not taken any of these comments seriously. I play solely for the enjoyment of the game. MNorwood don't bother with the ladles, they're just trying to stir up sh!t. It's all just hot air, so stop the global warming!

You have to realize snooker in Canada is a more popular game and played at a higher level than in the U.S. To see someone play that many games and run only 30 isn't good (I could do it). I sent drsnooker a pm(rep). before your post. I wanted to find out how he played off T.V.

Canada has an ex world snooker champion and the first player to make 147 on tv. Another that was ranked top 9 in the world and others that won pro events in the UK. They run 100's often and would pound anyone only getting 30's. Sorry for popping your bubble.
