Live Streaming will it last?

another thing to ponder

Just another quick thought .I also think alot of the better pool rooms
will see what an advantage this is and start putting up a few cams ,some
rooms already have .So that leaves us out after they do that .I plan on
keeping my main business going and doing this on weekends and such.Like
Jerry posted on here somewhere I need to work on getting back in the black.
The thought did cross my mind to drop my main business and do this as
much as I love being around pool and tournaments BUT until I see the demand
is big enough I will probably just try and schedule a couple of good tournaments
a month and that will be enough if its done right .

Fast Lenny...I have seen some of your streams..and I have to say I like them....
Thanks alot, comments like that make me feel good about doing it.I know there is no money in this or pool for that matter but if I can help the sport I will.I do think down the road it might lead to big things and if it does great,if not then I had fun doing it and feel good about giving something to the sport.

I agree on the being able to download after the fact, a high quality copy to watch at my leisure. If I spent 20 hours in front of my pc on the weekend after staring at it for 10 hours a day all week at work, my eyes would just burn, out and my girlfriend would leave me. Plus I hate to sit still for that long and the weekends are when the best action is at the pool room. I would be willing to purchase the stream so i could watch some of it live (always best because you haven't read or heard what happened yet) and could watch the rest later. I don't usually by the dvd's after the fact because you already know who won, and there are already so many videos out there for free.
Just my thoughts

Just my thoughts

We offered a similar thing with the Belgium Open Snooker tournament last September. Users paid for the stream and they get the matches on demand at a higher quality after the event.

Editing does take time however, we captured 22 hours of tape (gave us a better quality capture at the time)
