I just put a video interview with Liz Ford. All previous interviews are in the "Video Interview" section. go4pool.net

Would anyone be interested in being able to buy a high quality DVD of the interviews? I'm thinking of offering it but don't know if it is something that anyone would want.

Thanks,
Jim

Hey Jim -
Thank you again for interviewing me, I'm really happy with the way that it turned out.

My apologies to Rob Pole of Skyline Billiards, in my nervousness I said that Rob Omen was one of the owners of Skyline! Oops, my bad!

Thanks again,
Liz

WOW Liz.
Very weird.

I also have a Psychiatrist dad, who also is an audiophile, who collects Leicas.
I wonder if they did a study of all APA members, how may of them would fit that criteria.

Your dad doesn't obsessively collect pens does he?

But anyway, similarities aside, i just have to say.
It took a lot of courage for you to get up there and open up about some things. Things that people typically have no real understanding of. I know that couldn't have been easy.
Nice job. Hats off to you.

Great interview
Good luck with everything.

Excellent interview, Liz. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I second Superstar's applause for your courage.

I was especially interested to hear about your breathing during your shot routine. I'm going to start working on that.

Breathing

Thanks for the positive comments.

I can't tell you how much regulating my breathing has helped me:

1. I am doing the same thing every time.
2. It keeps me calm and ensures that I am not holding my breath during competition which is a very common thing to do.
3. It helps me maintain a solid and comfortable stance. I have a tendency to get too low and close to the cue with my upper body not allowing me to follow through. In order to breathe like this I have to leave room for my chest and abdomen to expand which ensures I have clearance.

Yes, I am officially a googan. I lie awake at night and think about this stuff.

I can't get any of the videos to play. Is anyone else having this problem? I've tried from two separate computers, using IE, Firefox, and Safari with no luck (on two different networks).

I dont know whats going on but im getting interviews with Liz and Parica simultaneously-can't understand a thing.

Will try again later.

I'm not sure why you would not get the video. It is a medium size flash video.

Also, If you click on say Perica and the credits come up quietly and you move on to Liz's interview, they will both run at the same time. You have to find Perica and turn it off. Then you can view only one.

Thanks,
Jim

Hey Liz,

I always root for you and really enjoyed your appearance on Discovery Channel. I look forward to seeing your continued progression through the ranks! Best of luck to you!

Great interview Jim. Liz is a great asset to the game of pool and her dedication to improvement is something to be admired. She's also quite funny off the table. Love her blog!

Thanks again Jim for an enjoyable lunch hour of interview viewing!

Fantastic interview.. Great job Liz, what a cutie pie :)! Jim, thanks for sharing all of these with us.

Some untimely testing.

My apologies if you tried to view the videos and they did not work. The webmaster has been doing some untimely testing and it had interrupted the video stream. It should be on again and will not be interrupted again. Thanks,
Jim
