lizzard wrap seam

i have a cue with a lizzard wrap and i can feel the edge of the seam in my hand when i am playing. needless to say this drives me crazy and makes me spin my cue till the seam lands where i cant feel it. is there anything i can do to the seam to get it smooth?

on that problem, my best advice is to bring it to your cuemaker. To avoid any problems. Because if you repair that on your own, i am not sure what will happen next, just to be sure and to relieve your anxiety.
