Local stream 614 vs 514, 15-11 game spot. I'm the streamer.

The better player should have slightly the best of it regarding spots. No way should they have to give up so much weight that they are the underdog. The lower players need to put in some effort. With Fargo, I stay away form the hot races because they tend to favor the lower-skilled players and that makes no sense. We should be encouraging players to work on their games and improve, not taking handouts from the handicapping system at the expense of those who put in the time.
Thanks for streaming. I love watching local action since I am rarely able to get out and play these days.

Agree 100%.

The “hot” chart always favors the better player. Always.

To find the true 50/50 odds, you have to go to the match probability section and hand type the numbers to get closest to 50/50. That’s the screenshot I posted. Then if you compare that with the “hot chart” you will see the hot chart always makes the better player the favorite.

Furthermore, all of the hot, med, and mild charts have an artificial minimum game number for the lower player to go to. That makes the stronger player an even bigger player if the rating difference is large.

If a pro plays a banger the hot chart spot will make the spot the same as if a 550 played the same banger, due to the artificial min game requirement.

I’ll agree with the rest of the post. That’s why I play her even. And why the headline match probably needed a bigger spot. He’s pushing himself also.

The hot chart favors the lesser-skilled player more than the medium was my point.
Playing an R5 hot race bar box 9ball is like playing bingo.

at those speeds they tend to think and play only to the next shot. which means they cant stand a chance on better players even with a big spot.

she was much better at it than him. but still doesnt look far out so it gets you out of position even if you get good position on the next ball.
