Lockers

Get strong ones. Pool room on Modesto got hit in the late 80’s. Oddly enough only the expensive cues were taken-as if the thief had cased out the joint or had X-ray vision. They were recovered months later.

It’s a ok idea, however if I owned a pool room I wouldn’t want that liability, it extends beyond $ as a persons cue isn’t always just about price.

Yeah , I had my Tad get stolen once, it was like I got punched in the gut, It was 1975 so I didn't pay much for it. Plus it was almost certainly stolen [not by me} It was just the best hitting cue I ever owned.

That’s terrible, I can’t imagine how bad that would feel. It’s not always money. It’s much deeper and personal. 😕

I would never leave an expensive cue in one of those lockers. I have a nice playing cue from Cuetec at cost about $250, and also a break cue of similar value. They would be okay but I wouldn't leave anything more expensive.

The ones I liked were at the Cue & Cushion in Houston. There was a wall of them two high. They are all wood and looked nice. Each locker was roughly 6"W x 6"D x 33"T (big enough to fit a 2x4 case and other misc. stiff). Doors were tall and skinny hinged on one long side. They had soda machine keys.
