LOGO Contest ?

Logo

No one agreed, especially Mike, to change the name
of the forum, and it would be confusing to say the
least. When I first found AzB, I thought it meant
Billiards from A to Z, or everything Billiards, not
Arizona Billiards. I think the double indication of
the name is a benefit to the website.
A logo is a great idea though, and I am sure we
have talented posters who can do the website proud.
A nice prize for the winning Logo would be a nice
touch, and various T shirts could be made, and
walaaa, a Billiard cult would be born.... lol

I agree! Changing the name is not really benneficial, especially after the DCC showing. The pros and the industry knows us by AZB now and our "sub-culture".

Actually I always thought it stood for everything from A to Z too. HUH? I never realized it had anyting to do with Arizona until about 4 days ago. Go figure. I like the A to Z idea better since it is universal.

I dont think Chris is suggesting that the website be renamed. He is merely suggesting that the generic "VBulletin" be replaced with something more fitting.
That is what you mean isn't it Chris? Billiards Digest did not change the name of their site, when they started "The Cue Chalk Board".

Yes, that's correct. the web-site is A-Z Billiards which, of course, is a fine name. Currently the forum portion is "V Bulletin". I would just change the forum name from "V Bulletin" to something pool related.

Me too, took me ages to find out about the Arizona connection. As for prizes, how about we open it to donations from the various dealers and manufacturers who post here? That way there's no out-of-pocket expenses for Mike and we could have a couple of prizes, not just whoever's design gets picked for the actual logo.
