Inspired from the ‘black on white’ pottery crafted by the Mimbres of the Mogollon tribes - circa 14th and 15th centuries, this 3 x 6 case is a tribute to the Lonely Gods of the Mogollon peoples. Commissioned by Collector to enshrine three treasured cues crafted by Mike Bender.
Crafted by casemaker - Phil Eastwood / Quiverz Sport Cases, this case is primarily a themed, display/showcase, hence its wide and flat stature, designed to boast the finely crafted cues within.
Enveloped in hand-tooled/carved leather, painted, crafted, cut, and bound by hand. Stitched together by over 300, hand-made, Copper and Aluminum hog-rings as well as top and bottom - hand twisted and hammered D-Rings.
Super fine - Hair on, and white leather hand cut fringe flows over the exterior with braid encircled, hand-tooled leather rounds, abound with Mogollon motif and embellished with Hopi/Zuni/Acoma (descendant to the Mogollon) Gods and motifs.

My nephew lives in Mongolia…I had to put that in as no one but him could have ended up there!
