long cue wanted

i want to try one of the long cues like earl,svb,shaw play

who makes the best cue like this for the money
as i expect i will not like the long heavy
i don't know if they are regular cues with extensions or what

i am ignorant of the details or what is best

i would be happy
with a solid maple


all i want to do is try one

what are the options?
