Longest time $ challenge table

What is the longest amount of time (games) you have won or seen someone win to stay on a challenge table.

I remember here we had a good player named Waldo, and he was at the state tourney on a $20 challenge table of 9 ball. Don't remember the exact amount, but it was something like 30 games.
That was an epic run.

Starting this thread was making me think of the SBE and all the videos of that challenge table.

I'm sure it was not 30, but there was a guy that won at least 10 games on the cheaper table at SBE, I was close to beating him but the 7 footer speed got me and I overshot my position and missed a sharp cut near the end of the rack. I still remember it because after I lost half the people in the group told me they really were hoping I'd beat him because he kept winning LOL

Me and a buddy were in this dive bar playing partners for pitchers of beer. We won like 40-50 pitchers. We had so many on our table we were keepin' all the cuties beer'd up. We were at the table for about 3hrs at least.

I have at least a handful of people who could vouch that at least twice in college i showed up to Antoons to play early at 3pm and never lost the table till it closed at 2am. And that’s including plenty of darn decent players 6/7 speed including the blind deaf and dumb ones.

There was a third time where it was like 9 or 10 pm and I hadn’t lost then I broke and ran 8 racks of 8 ball everyone lost their minds and I quit and sat on the shoe shine pedestal chairs and told them y’all do something I’m bored of shooting

Beat a dude from Shreveport there one night 17 game in a row before the tournament then met him in finals beat him again then another race to 3 and won all those too, and took his Mooochiiie. What a fish he was lol

Played like the dam wind in that place. Was often like playing the pro at expos and such all the beer, 5/10/20$ action I could digest if I felt like. Johnny Antoon was a good man supported my game quite a bit, Hell the whole town kinda did it was really tite. Old man Harold always used to make me laugh he would say “that’s got daammmm right ma boyyyyy can do it. He get drunker than a skunk and rackfor me till the wee hours after closing.

Once I played all the way till 5 and was drinking all the time and went straight to the track for AM practice.....druuuuunnnnnk....and it was a makeup day and I didn’t even have to be there but was like oh well let’s go, as the guys pulled me to the grass off the road I was swerving on....couldn’t believe I didn’t lose all my guts that day. Sure as hell haven’t drank like that in a long time and don’t want too lmao.
