Longoni and Hanbat carom cue joints

Does anyone know if the Longoni and Hanbat carom cue joints are the same thread? Thinking that Longoni are 1/2X10. Also, does anyone know where I could find or get some joint protectors made or bought? thanks
 
Not 100% sure but I believe that Desi2960 (Chuck Starkey) uses that thread on his wood pin cues. I don't know if he likes making j/ps but a PM to him will
let you know quick enuff.

He does have the ability to make wood pins and tap for them, whether its in the size you are needing or not. He would be your best bet on AZ that I know of.
