My Buddy recently got a Longoni cue direct from Longoni with the insert already in the cue for the Longoni Cue Extension 3Lobite but it is a brass insert. he had wanted the titanium insert to keep the weight down.

does anyone know if those inserts are glued in, he doesnt want to try to remove it in fear of cracking the butt.

does anyone know ?

Thanks in Advance

The insert is threaded, get the aluminum screw/bumper, it`s about 1/3 of the weight of the brass insert. Costs €24.

That's what he wants to do, but he doesn't know if Longoni glued the brass insert in and doesn't want to crack the butt trying to find out.

If it's glued do this - Apply tip of hot soldering iron to the head of the insert and hold it there for 30 to 45 seconds. The heat will release the bond of the glue, then simply turn it out.

If it is not glued then do the same just to make sure .. easy stuff.

Good luck.

I suggested that idea to him already and he wasn't very fond of the idea !!

Thanks though !!
