a while ago i picked up an old falcon from a pawn shop, and some idiot tried to inlay a "diamond" in the shaft.

it looks like they took an electric drill in one hand, the shaft in another, and let 'er rip. then blacked out the hole with marker or something, and used alot of clear glue to fill the huge hole. the pictures aren't the best, but you get the idea.....

Wow don't see that every day!

I wonder if he got the idea from his teeth!

And yes that might be subject to conjecture!

I just took an Omen in on trade and the guy who owned it glued a diamond in the end of the joint pin. You have to know it is there to see it, even when the cue is apart, but it is kinda cool!

I really like the stone in the pin idea. Do you know if that can be done with any pin or did he use something special? Is that a Ruby?

Am not sure about your question regarding the use of any pin.

He usually puts in the person's birthstone. I don't know what mine is but I think I told him my birthday.

I answered my own question, I just looked at some of the pins in my cues and some have the hole in the pins. Thanks.

There's no shortage of people who can't own something without boogering it up with some such modification. Worst I've seen (a little different, but the same mentality): my friend has a nice semi-auto shotgun that the prior owner used as a canoe oar.
