Looking for a builder to build me this..

Sneaky pete, bloodwood base, into either figured maple [curly/quuilted 1st choice, tiger or birsdeye], or ebony. In the base i am wanted to place a coin, looking similar to the dufferin cue logo idea, but with a coin. Some nice ringwork, and a joint..so not an absolute sneaky. Length around 57.5 weight is not set in stone as i know certain woods will tend to lean toward one weight or another. So anyone want to build it? Let me know what you think and $$. Thanks for your time.

Change the bloodwood to purple heart, and you'll get it done much more quickly. If you're set on bloodwood, you may have to go to Schmelke or Prather to make the blank for you first. IIRC, Chris Hightower may also make sneaky blanks.

John Spitz has done some nice work with bloodwood, you can find him on here as wood2wood.
 
john spitz no longer builds cues,and can not build a fullsplice cue,on the other hand i do build fullsplice cues ,bloodwood not a problem .it will be a bit heavy like ebony ,call me and we can get one in the works. thanks darrin 1-815-690-6581 www.hillscues.com

Can't go wrong with Darrin Hill's full splice cues. Probably one of the best full splice cuemakers out there.

darrin i hit with one of your cues this week at sbe. wasnt a fan of the tip(or lack there of) but overall i was very impressed.
 
lepro i consider it to be a stock part,i tell my custermers go with a moori,and ivory ferrule,give it a full mod job, when ordering a custom cue from me people allways go that route.

I have a cue in the works right now that has a birds eye front a bloodwood handle and a birds eye butt . I'll get some pics up soon....nice rings too... Sap maple and ebony...all looks good:grin:

since when did Spitz stop. Saw him today and he seemed to be making cues? Both of your cues hit pretty awesome.

actually...he is making cues, and I have a full splice of his and hits jam up. I don' know if you two have a beef or something, nor do I really care, but he has made me excellent cues and continues too.
 
Wow! The last time I checked... I was building cues... Don't offer information to others unless you know the facts. Is there anything else that I don't do anymore that I don't know about? Please keep your opinions to your self as it reflects poorly upon your character.
