Hello all, this is my first post, and I must say I enjoy your forum very much. I been shooting pool for about six months and I have decided to try a custom cue, cokers seem to be a good start for me, since I"ve heard they have a rather firm hit, I play with a shon stl-18 now. If anyone has a cue that would fit the bill just pm or e-mail me, I have about 400-500 dollars to spend, but if it's real nice I may be able to go higher, thanks for your help Phil (hyperws7@yahoo.com)

I've used a Coker for a couple of years now.........they are great cues with a good solid hit. I highly recommend them. For some reason they are quite underpriced for the workmanship and playability you get.

About 3 weeks ago I bought a Coker cue for my wife. I bought it from Buck15, here on the forum. The cue was well packed and shipped to me very quickly. I had very good communication with Buck15 during and after the sale. Emails, the UPS tracking number, his address, and even his phone number if I felt I needed to talk to a live person. He was honest in all aspects of the sale, and I would not hesitate to do business with him in the future. Also, if this cue is like the one I bought, it will look better than the pictures.

Glad you found the cue you were looking for. I think you will like the play of a Coker. It won't be the same as a Schon but I went from SS to wood to wood and have never gone back.

I love my Coker and I hope you enjoy yours.

Coker cue

Thanks for the quick payment. Cue will ship out tomorrow and I will get the tracking number to you as well. Ebony and tulipwood is always a great combo together. Enjoy the cue, Trav D.

That's a nice looking cue there Jeff, can you tell me what tips you used on that cue, and did you prefer a certain tip on the coker?

That looks alot like the cue that I sold him. Looks great and hits solid. Those triangle tips on there hit great, I prefer to grind of about half of it to get an even stiffer hit.

new coker

recieved cue, it reallly looks good,I got to hit a few balls with it and the hit seems to be good, just not as tight as I would hope for. does anybody have any advice on tips that will make this hit more compact and harder? thanks Phil
