Looking for a game in San Diego CA

I am on a business trip in San Diego CA and I am looking for a few games. I am here all week, leaving on Friday, and would like to find a place to shoot. Any info on the area would be most appreciated. So....anyone up for a few games with an average level player (I was a 6 in APA, and in a local money leage I am an 8 out of 10) ?

One of the better places to go in San Diego county is On Cue billiards in La Mesa. Very classy room and usually plenty of action. Plenty of 9ft tables, good food, and 6x12 snooker table. I haven't been there in a while but I hear it's still running strong.
 
There is a tournament tonight at On Cue at 8pm. It normally gets a full field so it's good to get there around 7:15 or so. You should be able to find a game there:wink: .
 
A guy at the front desk was telling me about Jolt'N Joes in the Gaslamp Quarter. Thats only about a mile or so from my hotel; I think Im going to check it out.

Jolt'n Joe's is a real nice place but hardly any players there.

No doubt; I just got back to my hotel from there. A real nice place for sure: lots of nice tables, good felt, Brunswick balls, desent house cues, but it sure was dead in there. I played the entire time by my self.............[song] All by my seeeeelllfff [/song]...LOL

I used to stop in there for some solo practice on my way home from work. The only time I ever got a game was when I would play someone from out of town or from a lawyer who lives nearby.

Too bad, it could be a nice players room. As it is, I think the owners are looking to pull out.
