Looking for a nice Break Cue

I'm just looking for a nice Break cue. Preferably a Jump/Break. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help!
 
I can't link you to anyone I know that is selling these particular cues, but my favorites are the Jerico Stinger and pretty much any Gilbert J/B cue.
 
I have the Poison jump/break cue. It feels really light but it breaks and jumps really well.

I have a Lucasi j/b that has a Sledgehammer type material installed on it. It is a good j/b for the money, it was like $100 3 years ago.
 
I've heard a lot about the stinger break cue and was thinking about that as my next "cue to buy" but I wanted to get a few oppinions first.

The guy makes one of the best J/B cues on the market I gave up my gilbert for this cue, and fairley inexpencive about 200 or so give him a call.
 
Best break cue I've ever had the pleasure using was a Gulyassey. My friend here has one and every time he's at the pool hall I borrow it. hehe!! Break cues are just like play cues in that every person has their personal preference on what feels right. I like 'em heavy and solid.

I'd eventually buy one from Mike but he doesn't deal directly with customers in Japan and I'm not about to give Lucky my hard earned cash for his over priced wares.

Search an x-breaker. For me it's the best.
Sorry that Richard, the producer, stop making cue for health problems..

I quite like my Varney, and even if he's not taking new orders one occasionally comes up for sale on the board.

I prefer a heavy breaker- mine is just under 22oz. and is perfect for my eight-foot table- on a nine-footer a lighter cue might be a better choice.
 
I feel it depends a lot on ur style of break as to which cue u should choose.if u r a rather hard breaker than i would suggest a bk2 and put a white diamond tip on it.I have used a stinger and it is more suited for person who break at medium to medium hard speed.I would say the tip has a very important role to play.The harder the tip is the lesser time it will have when cue contacts it.so if u break very hard with a g10 tip or equivalent it would tend to slip more and would not hold chalk also.However if u break slower it might work tremendously well for u.
It has a lot to do with friction when 2 very hard substances will come in contact they will tend to slip away and one rather less hard and hard substance will contach each other the contact and the push would be longer.so a better break.IMO(could be wrong)
So if u break really hard than use something like white diamond tip cue.
also kevin varney is now using canvas resin tips which i think are also tremndous.
