Looking for a Sailor cue to add to my collection. Cues with four points and veneers preferred. Feel free to post pictures and price here, especially if they have veneers.

Sailors

Have had some great leads from AZB'ers, thanks. Saw one in person yesterday, ebony points, four veneers. Most likely Burton Spain forearm. Forearm was warped and had about a 1/4" lift off the table. If anyone is interested let me know. Looking at about 2K for the cue with two shafts, one original, both have slight roll and 11 to 11.5 mm.

I dont think Sailor made many cues with points. They are rare and if you find one better snatch it up.

Rare?

Sailor cues with veneered points must be extremely rare. Other than the one I saw in person, have had no response. Does anyone own one out there own one?

Working on a cue right now for you, I'll let you know. I know a guy that has a Sailor

Pictures?

Great will wait to hear from you. Let me know if you have pictures available.

Nothing yet, if you have a veneered Sailor, they are as rare as hens teeth. I want to have one someday.

Sailor cues with points are often Burton Spain blanks which can sell for thousands to the right buyer. I have a Sailor cue with a slight roll (which is common) that he made for me last year. I can ask if he has anymore for sale.

I can only reiterate what others have said. I have looked through Sailor's photo albums showing what has to be the majority of cues he has made, and very very few had points. If you desire one, and you see one offered, you should jump at the chance as you might not see another for some time.
