Looking for a somewhat recent post with test pics of glue joint at ferrule.

I've been googling and looked 15 pages back...

Recently there was a post where a cuemaker was experimenting with different methods for gluing a ferrule on to get cleaner glue lines without CA bleeding into the shaft wood. I think it involved wood glue, tinted/dyed epoxy etc. I can't find it anywhere.

I've recently started replacing ferrules and my glue lines are good but I am looking to get as close to perfect as can be. I'm going to try some experiments and would like to look at this post again.

I had an idea and decided to try an experiment. Thought I would share. I have seen some great seamless ferrules. Most people say use epoxy. Some say wood glue if you can do super clean threading. Currently I do not have live threading capabilities. Using epoxy with slip-on or compression...
