Plainer the better. Traditional, veneered cues preferred.

Send me a PM with what you got.

Thanks,

Not very many.

I lived in Springfield, MO, and this is what Andy did for marking his early cues were pretty popular locally. I would suggest finding these cue would be more local to the Southwest Missouri region verses the broad base as his cues reach now.

Like most cuemakers, these earlier cues are a little simpler and frankly you will see less perfection than you see in his cues today.

Darrin Everett had one of his earliest cues and it perhaps one of the best examples. That would be a true treasure to get that cue.

I seriously doubt Darren would part with his. Sherrie at Dennis' Place in Springfield, Mo has a few but I don't think they would go cheap (if at all).

Agreed.

I have to admit you made me smile. I will share a story about Sherrie. Years ago, there was an APA team made only ladies of Springfield, and Sherrie was on that team, maybe the captain. (This was probably 20 years ago, so give me some latitude here). But this team was the top APA team in the city.

Sherrie can still play a decent game of pool. Poor gal was directly involved in an unfortunate vehicle accident 3 weeks ago. The driver (at fault) of the other car was an elderly lady and she was killed. Sherrie has not taken it at all well.

But, if I see her tonight I will let her know that someone here is looking for a G Gilbert and have her get in touch if she wants to sell any. Very doubtful.
