Looking for and extension solution

I have a cue that has a bumper and weight bolt system that is similar to Schon system, the bumper screws into the weight bolt.
The bolt is the same as Shon - 3/8-16.
The bumper itself is shorter than the Schon bumper and the cavity at the butt end is not as deep as the Schon's So using the Schon solution that I have from Budget Billiards won't work.
The bumper diameter is also a little bit smaller than the Schon's (25mm vs 25.4mm).

So I'm looking for a solution to add an extension for this cue.

I found this online, it looks like it might fit but it's a kit for making your own extension which I am not into doing or know how.

I haven't found something like that, that comes with an extension or a bumper that may take one of the extensions I already own.
I would also like to find a solution that does not add too much weight to it.

Any ideas on how get and extension for this cue?
It's not a main player so I don't want to spend too much money on this and I can use a slip on extension if I don't find a solution.

That is the only quick release system that will go directly into the 3/8-16 hole
Or knock offs of the same

I can weigh one that I stock and is pretty light just aluminum and carbon fiber
Good system

Tom Migliore.

The end.

This extension looks like one from cuefits. If so, I believe they also sell the prebuilt extensions for them.extensionPic.png

Another off-the-shelf solution is the 3/8-16 Tiger Extension. Thread their adapter in and buy their extension. They have several lengths, etc. It works. It’s not sexy.

I enjoy my Migliore, and I did fit it on my Schuler without altering the floating weight bumper design. But I have four or five cues now with his adapter, and because of the design (taper fit), one adapter fits all those cues.

That picture you posted is of the cuefits system. They also sell different extensions that work with that bumper. You can just buy the bumper itself with an extension. You don't need to make your own.

Since we are on the topic, does anybody know of any other extensions that use the same pin as the cuefits? I have one of their bumpers only. I believe it's a 5/16x14 quick release. The cuefits extensions look okay but charge over $40 shipping which I think is absurd.

I think that the Budget Billiards extension is 5/16x14.
I have one for my Schon cues.
I’ve ordered the cuefit bumper (of amazon), hoping that the extension that I have will fit.
I’ll post an update when I get it

I pay 10, get it in maybe 3 weeks. You must be choosing the express delivery.

Just a bit back there was a posting on this. I gave views on how I did mineorthers gave their input. The problem withsome of the options is you can't adjust your weight.
I origo ally had mine custom made fir my schons. I have Jacobys system on my 2 Jacobys. Very nice but pricy.
Somebody after about a week or so if replys, got a quick change extensive and bumper system for cheap from Ozone or Omega or someplace like that.
I know I tried to see if my Jacoby bumper worked on my schon, but while it screwed in, it didn't work.
I'll look for the posting if someone doesn't find it before me.

I feel stupid now…
I have the Jacoby extension and two bumpers and never thought to check it, didn’t realize that it was 3/8-16.
Just tested it, it works…
Problem solved!
Lol! BTW - just remembered that the Jacobys use the Tom Migliore system for their QR extension.

I have a Schon. I went with the Tiger X adapter and extension. Works for me.
For Schon I got the Budget Billiards solution, looks better and cheaper
See here

But it won’t work for the above cue

It says you have to remove the weight bolt. Probably because that threaded part is way too long. With the Tiger X I did nothing but remove the rubber bumper and install the adapter. Simple. Easy.

Yes
I have 2 Schon cues.
One had a short light bolt so replacing it didn’t make any difference.
The other cue had a longer, heavier bolt, in this case, I’ve added a weight bolt before the bumper that almost matched the original weight and length that actually works great, ended up with a 1/4oz lighter and slightly more forward balanced than it was before and I actually like it better like that.
