I think you could get a Diamond for that kind of money.
A Diamon is kind of ugly though. It would look horrible inside a house.I think you could get a Diamond for that kind of money.
I have this 8' Beach table. Got it used and rebuilt it. Beach is out of business but pretty sure they were made in the USA but the slate was made in Italy. I completely rebuilt the legs and the table. Ditched the dolphins, new 860, Artemis cushions, extended the sub-rails and new leather pockets. I got the table for $300 so it was worth it to do the upgrades and I did all the work myself. Plays fantastic! Of course I would rather have a Diamond or GC 9' but I am lucky to have this.
I black composite tables may not be very attractive but the Cherry Dymondwood tables were beautiful.A Diamon is kind of ugly though. It would look horrible inside a house.
People also have different tastes, to me tables with skinny rails and nothing but a piece of leather wrapped around pocket irons look cheap, I would much rather have an "ugly" Diamond.A Diamon is kind of ugly though. It would look horrible inside a house.
Have you seen a Diamond table? It's pretty cheap too.People also have different tastes, to me tables with skinny rails and nothing but a piece of leather wrapped around pocket irons look cheap, I would much rather have an "ugly" Diamond.
Diamonds are built like tanks. People buying D's are buying a good playing table not designer foo-foo furniture. Most of these home furniture tables go in homes of people that hardly ever use them.Have you seen a Diamond table? It's pretty cheap too.
It's like a crackhead trying to make fun of an alcoholic.
Not really.Diamonds are built like tanks. You're not buying designer foo-foo furniture.
I have seen many Diamond tables and play on them quite regularly, I also happen to love the look of the Cherry Dymondwood tables. Most of the people who buy Diamonds buy them because they want a quality table and because that is the table they are likely to be playing on at tournaments. The people I know who are good tournament players buy Diamonds, the people who buy the "pretty" tables are more often than not not familiar with how a table should play, not familiar with pocket size, and use it about once a month. If they become more serious players they will soon trash the "pretty" table and buy a Diamond. Most of the "pretty" tables are built with pressboard or fiberboard which can only be assembled and disassembled a couple of times at most before all of the screw holes are wore out, good pool players actually use their tables and need to have them covered every 5 or 6 years like my ugly Gold Crown. Because I went the quality over "pretty" route for a table choice I don't need to worry about replacing my table because it needs new "felt".Have you seen a Diamond table? It's pretty cheap too.

Don't bring Gold Crowns into this. I am talking about Diamond tables because I think Gold Crowns are the best looking tables to have for a home.I have seen many Diamond tables and play on them quite regularly, I also happen to love the look of the Cherry Dymondwood tables. you're clueless bud. ever sat and watched a Diamond put together? I have, both Pro and ProAm. They are stout. WAY better than any pos home table. They got popular in rooms/bars/etc for a reason, they are well made(in the US to boot) and play great. Add in that Diamond supports the game from grass root level all the way to world class pros. There IS a lot of pure crap out there in pool-land but Diamond tables aren't one of those, far from it.Not really.
People are buying Diamond because they see it at their pool hall or on TV. If it was XYZ shit smelling table then I guarantee people will put it in their homes. We are all pool players here and we give into the crap they sell in our industry and myself included. It's just that I'm starting to realize it. LOL
Are you kidding me lol you can have a linebacker hip check my diamond and it won’t moveNot really.

You seem to like to argue. I have an opinion and you seem to have one too.you're clueless bud. ever sat and watched a Diamond put together? I have, both Pro and ProAm. They are stout.
