Looking for someone who can maybe help me out with info on huebler custom cues. I've recently purchased a really nice cue and am looking into restoration or preservation of cue
contact poolcrazy he knows a lot about Hueblers. If you want someone to restore it you can call Proficient Billiards and talk to Scott. They do really good restoration on cues.
That looks like the Custom Heart Cue, but its hard to tell from the pictures. Pictures are not very clear. Look on the end of the butt were the bumper is...Does it say Custom Shop and then have a date on it?
It certainly could be a prototype. Many cuemakers made prototype cues for what became popular models later on. Certainly looks like a Heubler. No matter what, if you like the way it plays...keep it. If you want to restore it...restore it. If you don't like the way it plays, then do not pay to restore it, as, imo, you will not recoup your investment. Nice looking cue.
