This lathe brand new is $1395. He is about $1500 over priced on the lathe. It is probably 15 years old and minimum 14 years old. It is not a Deluxe, it is just the old Full Size Cue Smith and may or may not be missing items.bubsbug said:This guy is right in you back yard. WildWestBilliar said:how does cue smith compare to a porper
WildWestBilliar said:Is unique better than cuesmith
JBCustomCues said:About $1400 less plus the cue smith is built as well or better than the porper. I guess if you want something that was made in china than go for the porper. But Chris makes a great product for a hell of a better price IMHO.
ratcues said:The Porper is made and assembled in the USA. Please know the facts before you type.![]()
JBCustomCues said:I am just going on what the person at the Creative Inventions booth at the super billiards expo told me a few years ago. Just because Mr. Porper invented this item does'nt mean that he dont have the parts outsourced. And that came from the person that works and assembles these lathes for Mr.Porper . I'm not saying that he does'nt have a good product I'm just saying that there are just as good and or better products for a lot less money.
