Looking For Matching Pearlescent Rod

Aloha all,

Looking for red pearlescent rod to match the rings in the butt of my old A.E. Schmidt cue. Not being a cue maker, I don't know if these rings are made of a bored out rod or if they are bought as rings and then made to fit the cue.

Hoping somebody can point me in the right direction. I've not yet decided if I will keep the cue in its original condition or have it refurbished, but I'd like to have matching material on-hand just in case it gets refurbished at some point.

It would be exceedingly difficult to find something that matches the exact color and swirl patterns. The best advice I was given a long time ago trying to find some pearlescent mayerial for a vintage cue project was to contact Schmelke. I believe they still sell the stuff. I was able to find some matching gold....the color was right on but the amount of swirl was not quite there. Hopefully this will help. Btw, it comes in rod form.
