I came across a great old dufferin red leaf sneaky pete that is in pretty good condition and has great maple in the forearm and in the shaft. It rolls almost perfectly straight and hits like a thorough bread according to my tastes.

Who can I send this cue to that has the old school micarta ferrules to replace whatever is currently on my cue, and who can make this cue showroom quality again? Hopefully a cuemaker that doesn't have an insane wait time. Thanks for any help.

hello friend

Keith at docs. Has the ferrule material you want. Kanaka creek cues. Minnesota. Mark

I'm just to busy right now to do the job, But depending on exactly what kind of Micarta your looking for, Weather it being Masons Micarta, Paper based micarta or what ever, I have these last two Old yellow wesstinghouse Micarta ferrule blanks,
The real deal , You can see the size on them, I had four and had Pete Tascarella put two on a couple extra shafts for a new Tascarella cue I just got in a couple weeks ago, So I have no need for these last two blanks, They came from pdcues here on az. If your interested in them send me a PM, But just a warning these real deal old yellow Westinghouse Micatra do not come cheap..

Thanks for the offer. This is the micarta I am looking for. But I have made the mistake of buying blanks in the past and then sending it to someone who ruined the material trying to put it on my cue, leaving me out $75 bucks. I just want to send my cue off to someone and not have to worry about matching up someones material to someone who can install it correctly.

Can someone please enlighten me.....what is the the deal w/ the real old school mircata ferrules. I have always know that people like/ want them, I just have never heard an explanation why.

If you don't have a competent repair guy locally,PM me here...:). Tommy D.

Good luck with that, First off if your lucky enough to find this stuff and know 100% with out a shadow of a doubt that's it is the real deal, Plan on spending more then $75.00 for the ferrule alone then the install price, Just an FYI who ever you deal with make very sure that they know this old yellow Westinghouse Micarta cant be threaded under power, Good luck
