I have a brunswick gold crown table. First edition i think. recently, I had it recovered and new cushions. they needed to be cut sharp. The job turned out beautiful, but , like it always has, spits out more balls than it should. The guy says it always will. That is not true, . So i need someone in my area, kitsap county wash state, near tacoma wa. Some who can tighten the pockets with modern angles to accept the shot. Also the rails may need recalibration to make the cushion point exact. And make the bed the correct playing size. The shelves are deep. The ball seems to never fall.
can anyone help me with this?

Hey Joe- do you want a table mechanic or some pool lessons? Just kidding:). I see more than a few Brunswick GC tables and some Candy commercial tables that have been reworked and I rarely see one done correctly. What I see is that whether the pockets are wider or tighter, the angle makes all the difference in how properly the pockets accept correctly struck object balls.

Whoever you choose, do an in-depth interview with that person to gain confidence that they truly understand the game itself and that they actually know the definition of proper pocket angles.

A table mechanic needs to understand that in order to get the cue ball from point A to point B on some shots; that a pocket must be able to accept properly struck object balls at certain speeds that, at times, are greater than slow.
