Looking for opinions from ladies and gents

All last week, I posted a thread about my book, Right on Cue, and the response was great.

Unfortunately, I didn't get many inquires, from women. This is the first book that features both men and women players. I'd like opinions from both genders.

Please ladies, help me out here.

Of course I'm still looking for the men, also.

If you private message me, with your e-mail address, I will send you the first chapter of my book in an e-mail.

I must tell you the text has adult content. I wouldn't want to offend anyone or have the text end up in the wrong hands.

I read the first chapter and it was just OK.

I also let two ladies read it and they both were interested in more but unfortunately when I mentioned how much the book cost they declined.

Pool and romance, IMO, is questionable for a popular read. There are way too many romance books on the shelves that sell for under $10, adding a pool mix, IMO, doesn't raise the price.

Sorry the price of my book doesn't fit into some people's wallets. It's 402 pages long. I didn't set the price, it was done by the publishing company.

It took me twenty years to write and probably close to thirty thousand hours of work. What would you charge for something that took you this long, to produce?

The Hustler, did pretty well, as a love story, centered around the game of pool. I was hoping my book could have the same results. The game desperately, needs something.

Keep the requests and comments, coming, please.

In my home room the issue is simply that the number of men far outnumber the number of women. The ratio is perhaps 6:1. If there are five to ten men requesting the free sample chapter for every one woman who requests it, then the number of requests you're getting might already be proportionally balanced.

What is the ratio of male to female users on AzB? I'd be curious to know that.
