Looking for opinions on a table

Hi I'm looking to pick up a new 8' table for a home and I thought this would be a good group to consult.

I am interested in the following(and other suggestions sub 6k):
Olhausen Blackhawk
Olhausen Donna Marie
Brunswick Sorrento

What I would like to know is what is different between the two Olhausen tables other than a little router work. Is the construction quality much different or what?

Is the Brunswick a better table than the Olhausens? I am a tad concerned with the made in china/taiwan/brasil deal with Brunswick. Otherwise the Brunswick is really eye catching.

I've never had the pleasure of playing any of the tables. I've grown up on a 5x10 National. I plan to try the tables when I get down to the store to make a purchase but I'd like some input before I head down there in a couple weeks.

Thanks!

Gandy

Gandy is another good option. But if you ask in the Table Mechanic section you will get more help.

I agree with Klink. The mechanics can tell you quality differences.

Also, look into the pocket specifications (cushion angle, shelf depth, vertical angle). They might be similar with these tables, or they might be different, making each more ore less challenging to play on.

Thanks for the input guys, I'll move my question to the table mechanics forum and start taking a look at Diamond pool tables. I never thought to look into pocket specs, I just figured there was a standard.

Are you looking for a furniture table or a player's table? The Sorrento looks more like a furniture piece.

If you are a serious player I would suggest the Diamond Pro Am. If adding to the decor of your home is your main priority I would go with the Sorrento.
