Silver Member
I live in southern WI. I have many friends but only 1 or 2 that will go out and shoot for hours with me. Just looking for someone else to go shoot with. I hate going to a room myself hoping to find someone to shoot with. I am not looking to play for money but just hours of practice. I like all the games but in a list from my favorite to least favorite would be
Banks
one pocket
9 ball big table or bar box
10 ball big table or bar box
bar box 8 ball

I prefer to shoot at the carom room in beloit
2nd master z cue club in waukesau
3rd romines in millwaukee

Hit me up if ya want to shoot

I live in Green Bay and would also like to shoot with someone, I dont know how far that is from where you are but I would love to play some 9ball or 8ball. I pretty much only get to play with people if I go out to the bars on the weekend.

If any fellow AZers are in the area shoot me a PM

I'm usually at carom room wed. and fri. during the day 10-11 am. if you wanna hit some around

Players...........

There are players everywhere, but I am sure most of us dont come on here looking for practice games! ;o) If you want to play banks and one pocket your best bet is Lennys in milwaukee or Red shoes in chicago/alsip. You might want to try the college rec-rooms as well because people there don't have any money and would welcome the challenge.

As for the rest of us, after you play pool for many years matching up becomes automatic. I do not play pool unless I am gambling for the most part. I have a good friend that plays open speed that I practice with free here and there. (I dont need his money, and he stays my friend win or lose)

So, I would suggest you keep moving around to different places and get to know people. After awhile of playing for small bets you will meet people that are willing to practice or teach you a little while giving you a spot. There are usually one or two old guys in any room that like to play and are past their prime. However, they are a wealth of knowledge and can help steer you around to games that you will have a chance to win.

Best of luck, Scott

Pm RyantheImpaler, he lives up around there and might wanna bang em around. The Carom Room is a great place! I wish it were closer to me, but sadly, its 4 1/2 hours away. There's a couple more people I know up there, but they prolly won't play for free. Good luck to ya!

Joe
