Looking for pool hall/bar/restaurant business plan???

Are there any owners of pool halls that would like to share their business plan with me? FYI, I am located in Wichita, KS. I have googled this and they cost between $50 and $70 and I am not real sure what I am getting.

Any ideas?

Matt, i am not sure what you would get for that price either. When my firm does a business plan the cost is somewhere between 3-5k. A generic plan will be just that. You need to account for local demigraphics but also economic and psycho-graphics. It needs to account for YOUR specific competition, your goals, and your traffic and exact location. What about city ordinances that can effect you, selling booze? Slow down and and do it right from the start.

Oh...didn't know there was one. Maybe this thread will be re-located. As a response to the post before your's, I am just looking for a sample plan. Before I will start, I will meet with either a SCORE rep or SBA rep. I have attended seminars in the past (locally) which offer free advice on how to build a business plan tailored to local area lending companies (banks).

I will check the other forum, thanks a bunch.

matt, Do you want a business plan that will pass mustard to get a loan, or do you want a plan that will help make the room profitable? The two may not be the same. There is a reason why so many small business fail even when a bank lends them money with the best of intentions.
 
It MUST be a plan for both. I would have too much riding on this and failure would not be in my vocabulary. Looking for something with maybe 3-5 year projection. I know it will have to be reviewed and revised and the business progresses or not. I have asked many people about my idea and the locationa and most all agree that it would be a prime location, but that's not good enough. I am fortunate to live where I live and have one of the best entreprenurial colleges in the country. They offer free one on one consulations and market researches and so forth. I was just looking for a sample plan in this industry. I have found a couple on the net, but have not purchased anything yet.
