I understand that some people equate gambling with practice, but it does not have to be like that. I am 53, live close to Emporia, retired and have plenty of spare time. I play or practice 20 plus hours a week since taking the game up since being widowed six years ago. I dont know about ratings, but am about a 5 0r 6 ball runner. If I play 9 ball for an hour I might run 2 or 3 racks.If you are interested I would be also, because living in a small place limits your playing partners. I have a table and just purchased a Break-rak to improve my break. I come to Richmond often and did play in the State tournament last year.(managed to actually win a couple of matches until I met up with Chris from Northen Va.).I am in kind of a rut right now so maybe a different practice partner might help. Hey VA you might find some players that would like to play through some of my events. I have some in Raleigh...how far is that from you. There are some good players there. Let me know and I'll try to look some people for you. Hope you have fun with your table. I use to have one set up and loved it but right now I don't hopefully I can get another one soon. First Hubby Higgy will have to give up the garage.....mmmm. Don't know if he'll do that...ha ha...Maybe I'll have to build him a garage out back and then I can have this one for a table.

by the way, i don't know if you remember, but i was the young guy from va you were talking to in charlotte. i was asking about info starting a tour in va. i've just been way too busy to get around to it. also, most of the rooms here seem to not want a tour.

That's the problem we had before up there when we've tried it. Just keep checking on it and let me know. I do remember you. I'm just picking. After being around and seeing how things go I pick a lot with the players. Looking forward to seeing you when I make it back up that way.

I know no plans have been made, but Purdy said he has Froidays off. this week is no good for me.
That said, maybe we should go to the Playing Field in Richmond to beat the rails on those tables before the state event?

that would be 175 for first and 75 for second at 50 a man. and 350 for first 150 for second at 100 a man. if my math's correct.
