looking for Szamboti dimensions

Trying my hand at designing a cue and would like to go with a Szamboti style/feel as I have always loved windows. Would anyone care to give me some height dimensions? In particular I am looking for bottom of cue to bottom of wrap (minus bumper of course), the white butt cap itself, and the joint collar height. I want to go with black, white, then black on the bottom of the shaft. From what I can tell the white would be 2x as high as the black? Could I get the height for those as well?

Not something I would personally feel comfortable doing.

However , it seems like if you just pulled a pic off the net of a known Szam butt length (typically listed spec) , it'd be pretty easy to extrapolate the dims your after from that.
 
Don't get me wrong... I am not going to have a 'fake' or exact copy made... just looking for typical heights of the butt cap (which appears to be used by many makers), but itself, and joint... the actual design of the cue I will be doing myself.
 
Geez, it's not like he's asking for nuclear launch codes! He's asking for someone to mic a boti...no different from mic'ing a meucci, Schon, Viking, etc. I guess all these people who make a boti tribute are evil? I'm sure they are using similar specs or possibly got to mic up a friends cue. What a bunch of tight a55es!
 
Lol - kind of how I feel too. Just always liked the white butt cap. Richard Black uses it a lot as well. Having the height makes things a little easier when you are using the computer to incorporate it into a design is all.

Grab a photo off of the Internet and make good estimates considering a butt is about 29". You can get the same estimations on wrap length and collar thicknesses.

Good luck and make it your own.

Guess I'll just go the picture route then. Yes, it will definitely be my own theres no doubt about that. I pretty much do graphic design every day so its easier for me to explain my design this way than say drawing it. Will surely have a 'classic' feel.
 
I'll go this far. 1/2" scale. 29" Butt.

You can break it down more from there if need be.

Actually the Secret Service is monitoring this thread just in case somebody cracks.
Even the president doesn't get dimensional information on Szamboti pool cues without buying one and dissecting it himself.
