Is there any titanium steel joint that I can buy around? is this lighter weight than a regular steel joint?

To my knowledge, they are no longer being made. To save on weight, you can buy the stainless joints that are 3/4x16 x 1" long.

Only because I was just weighing them, with all things being equal, the Titanium collar is about 61% lighter than a SS.
