Looking for wrap suggestions for my latest cue.

Looking for wrap suggestions for my latest cue creation. I was thinking off-white or beige leather to match the tiger maple points and panels but I've been unable to find the correct shade of leather for sale.

I'm partial to leather wraps but it's hard to tell what the ultimate owner of this cue will want. I'd like to get a general consensus here and that's probably what I'll go with.

Are you asking for a certain look or feel?
Looking for a general consensus on the color or type of wrap. I like leather but is that going to be the most popular? My main question concerns color (look).

I'm having trouble finding wrap sources that have multiple colors to view online and Google doesn't seem to be much help. It pulls up the usual suspects (Seyberts, Tiger, Atlas etc.) but they don't have the color I was looking for. I know there are a million vendors out there who sell leather wraps...

I could see a tan or medium brown leather looking really nice on that, not too figured though, keep it simple.

Or white with brown spec linen....probably not a super popular choice but I like linen wraps.

Contact Martin at Superior Cues or Gil at Castillo Leather.
If Martin doesn’t have what you like or want, then he’d get it.
This is just a glimpse…..do yourself a favor and call Martin.

I think cork would make the cue look dull. Cork doesn’t impart any color contrast and you want the wrap to do that on this design. It would look ho hum and blah with a cork wrap. If it was straight grain, birdseye or curly maple forearm, cork would work better but not with the current forearm and butt wood. Of course, you also have to like the feel of the cue wrap.

That Cognac is a really nice tone for your cue, but I'm not the biggest fan of lizard texture. Just a little too textured for me.
Me personally I would never do white unless a customer asked for it.

A tan cork or tan fine lizard would look great without overpowering the fine cue construction.

Repasky Customs…….

I looked the photos Martin has on his website, Superior Cues. Here’s the top selections, in my opinion.
However, take a gander at the long list of different leathers without any photos. Just pick one from the
photos, call Martin, tell him which ones you like, ask him if he has any others similar to what caught your
eye and order the wrap. You won’t go wrong with Martin as anyone of esteem on this Forum would attest.

Wine……..Marbled Rust Spanish Bull……Italian Pebble Cognac…….Wild Stallion Cocobolo………Spanish
Bull Burgundy…….Spanish Bull Rust………Buffalo Cocobolo……….Buffalo Cognac…….Cognac Lizard…..
Hazelnut………. I think you can’t go wrong looking at these before pulling the trigger on something different.
