That's the most played out script and looks to be another Hollywood recycle. How many times have Hollywood remade a movie? Many times.

This is The Color of Money remake except its rebranded with another title.

Ghostbusters in its many itineraries.
Robocop
Top Gun remake
Gladiator

This just to name a few. I think this movie is no different. It's the Color of Money without calling it that.

It may turn into a woke version of TCOM.

I have no opinion on how you spend your money. I am just surprised of your hurt feelings.
 
Lets nitpick this some more since I love critiquing a movie.

What is wit the title Shutout because that sounds more like baseball lexicon rather than pool lexicon. Something like On the Hill would be better. Shutout is so generic.

You can have players in the movie reference "on the hill" this and it could be an easter egg moment for them. It sets up for what's to come.

Any guesses or bets what the cue the main character will be using? Carbon? I say she uses traditional 4 pointer but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a limited edition Black cat P5 that will be coming by that time. Think product placement like the James Bond movies.

Well, he became a crisis actor. He was hired by a campaign to go and play a part of a concern citizen. The working class of New York City called him out to his face and he went crazy. It was like a scene from one of his past movies. He's been a very controversial guy and I will leave it at that.

Anyways, due to his age and recent backlash, I don't think he would be a good fit for this remake of The Color of Money.

a flick loosely based flick on st louie roberts (warts and all) with an accurate depiction of his life and ultimate early death would be riveting

the young man that played elvis a couple of years ago is my first choice to play the lead
