I picked these up from a guy today. I have been looking for a Adams Monoco for a while. It seems awfully yellow yet looks like the origional wrap. the other cue is a "I don't know either." Anybody know about a Lord Brunswick? Thanks, Purdman

That monte carlo for sale?

Old Cues

I am sorry, it should have said Lord Brunswick. That is what is in the foil on the Palmer looking cue. The Adams is a Monte Carlo as pointed out by jayman. I think I want the Adams.

i really like the "look" of the "Palmer looking" cue. looks like it has a nice fat butt.

skins ----------- is not butt discriminatory. :)

I'm going off of a cue that i once asked the owner of, if he was willing to sell his old palmer. He said it was not for sale or a palmer, I looked it over for a while and said it not a paradise? he said no, Its a fedunka! it was very very similar to that one. from the wrap forward (going from memory only) it looks like the same thing to me.

Peter confirmed this Brunswick was a limited run Palmer made for Brunswick. The Brunswick's had different designs than Palmer - so it threw me off, although the parts looked right. Late 1970's, early 1980's.

I know that it sounds kinda funny, but I'm glad that you confirmed that, because over the past few days, I have looked at the pics of this cue, and I kept thinking that it was a Palmer, the clear Foil window in the Butt Sleeve and the joints collars, was what made me keep thinking of Palmer cues, but the only difference being that Palmer's own cues, mostly (If not all cues), had mop/pearlescent joint collars, like the Palmer Ultra Supreme, and so, it was the similarities that kept jumping out at me :)

I am on a mission! I hope I can track down the guy with a very similar cue here in the denver area, I wonder if it is one of the brunswicks as well? I'm going to try to keep a camera with me as often as possible.man i wish i knew his name! I could just call around and ask if anyone had seen him. I just think they are the same thing.

Tate Rocks,

Jayman.

Thanks, Jay. I ran into a very interesting cue someone e-mailed me. The cue was ordered through Brunswick and the owner thought it was a Palmer. It had a Palmer look, but all the parts were Adam. So Brunswick was also selling Adam cues the same way they sold this Palmer and it was in the early to mid 1970's. It was a great looking cue by the way, and had the sharp pointed Adam screw.
