Los Angeles Cue Tip Repair/Installation

Can anyone recommend a good resource for getting a tip installed/repaired in Los Angeles?

I recently had one of Pooldawg8's Milkduds installed on my shaft at a well-known pool hall here in L.A. but the job done was uh, not too good- Mushroomed shape, excess glue stuck on my ferrule, uneven placement. I don't really have any proper tools.

Just looking for someone to fix this one or start over with a new tip.

Is it better to submit this to the cue maker's forum? Thanks!

Crown City Billiards in Pasadena 818-659-5008 Corey does a great job.

Dan Gallegos in Long Beach 562-900-7276 also does clean precision work.
 
Or if you're at Hard Times, Lil' Al.

LA is kinda a big place, may help to be a little more specific on the location.

I'm in the South Bay but I'm open to options all over L.A. since there seems to be very few. Thanks for the advice on Crown City.
 
Glad to hear Dan is around and working. Good work and a ton of pool stories.
 
I go to the Tiger Tip Factory in Burbank (Tiger Products). They have installed about 10 and cleaned up about 6 in two years time and have always done a good job. Its $18 to install a tip if you bring it or $5.00 to clean one up.
 
Actually Gallegos is the closest to you. He is right off the 405 on Wardlow in West Long Beach which is almost 15 miles closer to you than Hard Times.
 
Guys thanks. I was in the area yesterday for work so I met Corey at Crown City Billiards and had him install another Milkdud. Corey's a super nice guy and I must have hung around for about two and a half hours just talking pool and hitting balls around. He even let me borrow a TAR dvd of his. Very cool experience, great guy and great shop.

I will definitely keep Dan's info though since he is definitely the closest to me at home.
